Chicken thigh is much better for kebabs / skewers than chicken breast.

I would often see kebab/skewers on the BBQ as a bit adventurous. Spending time to 'make my own' would seem like an effort, only to be rewarded with dry left over food (on the remains of a bamboo stick) at the end of a party.

Switching to chicken thighs has changed all that. They are succulent, juicy, great at absorbing flavours and rubs, and always get snaffled up when served 'off the skewer'. Either sliced or simply scattered on a bed of sauce or grilled onions.
